Its more of an about me page than a about us page. I am a 27 year old penetration tester who studying Computer Science Engineering and has keen interest in the infosec world. I spent a lot of time searching for the right path in the field of information security. In my youth I spent time on hacking forums, reading tutorials, watching video tutorials, downloading ‘hacking tools’,using metasploit against VulnHub virtual machines and other legal challenges.
I enjoy bulding penetration testing tools, learning in depth how computers and computer networks work, how industry peers build tools and how exploits are identified and developed. Its similar to being a car mechanic who knows about every part of the car and he has the ability to tweak the car in any way he wants to get the desired output. In much the same way if you want to be a hacker you need to know every thing about the computer systems or mobile devices and the networks. This knowledge alone is not enough, out of the box thinking is a must as you will rarely face the exact same problem twice (unless your testing web apps). Someone somewhere at sometime will have made a mistake and it’s your job to find the mistake, and it’s our job as pen testers to identify, exploit and help organisations fix security problems.
